She's on her way!  Pam has been training for months and its finally here. She and her friends left early Wednesday morning for Mackinaw.  She choose the 5 day ride. She has posted some pics on Everlasting Stitches Facebook page. Last     text received was from Torch Lake. What a beautiful way to see the state. But this week has been a scorcher with all this heat. I'm sure she's had some difficult days, but she's still riding. We are all so proud if her!

New Quilt

Well, since I started the shop blog is looks like people have actually been looking at my blog also.  Probably pretty disappointing to see that I haven't posted anything in a year!!  Life does get away from us doesn't it? I got a call from my brother the other day and he asked me when I was going to make him a quilt.  I was shocked.  I actually had though about making him one but just wasn't sure he'd like one.  Now I'm motivated!!  He's big into sailing and is actually in the process of making a sail boat.  A BIG one.  So here is the quilt I picked out from an old book by Gerry Kimmel Carr called Homefront.  The four blocks are my beginning of the quilt.  Only 43 more stars to go, 5 ships, and 3 mariners compass!!
